Last week, a nationwide recall was issued for three lots of infant ibuprofen. The medication was sold at major retailers, including Walmart and CVS. Tris Pharma Inc., the company who produces the recalled medication, says that some lots of the product were found to have higher concentrations of ibuprofen. “Adverse effects that may be experienced are nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, or more rarely, diarrhea. Tinnitus, headache and gastrointestinal bleeding are also possible adverse effects,” the company said in a statement.
